Generally, flowers will cost around 10% of your total wedding budget. How much you spend on wedding flowers will fluctuate based on the types of flowers you want, your wedding season and the size and style of the arrangements you want. I will work within your budget, and offer ideas to avoid going over budget while still making your vision come to life. Repurposing flowers from the ceremony into reception, offering less expensive flowers that look similar to your first choice of flowers, or using expensive flowers sparingly. are some of the ways to maximize your investment.
For weddings, it is a good idea to book your florist at least 6 to 9 months in advance. However, if your event is during the height of wedding season, it is a good idea to book 12 months out. For other events such as small, intimate weddings, corporate events, parties, showers etc., shorter notice is completely possible.

During:
I will drop off flowers for the bridal party (bouquet, boutonnieres, corsages etc.) to the location of your choosing. My team and I will transport all ceremony/reception florals to your venue(s) where we will setup/install and place ceremony/reception flowers. We like to be be the invisible team that disappears after making the magic happen. Everything will be left perfectly fresh and ready for your ceremony & reception before your guests begin to arrive.
*if ceremony pieces are being re-purposed for the reception additional transport charges may apply
After:
My team and I will return to pick up hard goods, vases, rentals, candles and teardown any floral installations at the end of your event. We are happy to leave whichever flowers you or your guests would like to keep.
Yes! Villa Fiore Design carries an large event rental inventory that includes Vases, Arches, Votives, Large Candles, Aisle Pieces, Linens & much more! This can be discussed at your consultation.
In order to protect the image and integrity of the work and designs we provide, we operate with exclusivity and request that we are the sole florist for this event. We are happy to work with you on incorporating any special or sentimental touches to your designs, but if you plan on ordering faux floral arrangements or having someone else provide florals as well, we may not be the best fit for your event.
Delivery, setup, transfer & strike fees are individualized based on the your specific event. Your proposal will detail these fees based on your specific needs.
Once a proposal is agreed upon, a 50% deposit is required to secure your date. This goes towards the final price. This is due to the time investment in the planning of your event that begins as soon as your contract is signed. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the event date.

Signing a contract and paying a deposit secures your wedding date. Changes to the totals can be made up until the final invoice being due 60 days prior to the event as outlined in the contract. Increases in the quantities will be due with the final balance. Any reduction in the original design price is limited to a maximum of 10% of the total original cost. For example, if the original contracted total was $10,000, then a reduction of $1000 or less would be allowed prior to the final balance.

If the event is cancelled 60 days prior to the event date, a 25% refund of the initial 50% deposit will be granted. Note: if the event is cancelled 30 days or less prior to the event date, the initial 50% deposit is considered nonrefundable.
We are based in East San Diego County and serve all of San Diego and Orange County. We are willing to travel outside of these areas on a case by case basis.
